Catalog Description:

Burr Walnut Veneered Anglo American Wall Clock The English case with a New Haven, Connecticut American movement. Wall clocks of this type often use a reliable and less expensive American movement rather than the larger English movement. Faux mercurial pendulum, mirror back board, carved scroll work and elegant stringing make this an attractive piece. The movement is a good 8-day, striking hourly on a bell and is clean and running. The case is in good original condition - the only replaced parts are the dial, the wooden dial support and the movement blocks. There may be a piece of finial missing from the top - but this is not noticable.

The Antique Clocks Price Guide database contains actual sales information about this piece and more than 20,000 other antique clocks. Most records tell you what it sold for at auction and where it was sold. Some records tell you the price that retail dealers are asking for this or similar clocks.

For as little as $6.95 for a five-day pass you can view the complete information for all the antique clocks in our database. To find out more about our low cost five-day, one-month or one year subscription plans, click here.
