|
Catalog Description: C.1845, Smith and Goodrich, Sub-miniature OG shelf clock (fusee) in very good condition. The well figured mahogany veneer is in very good shape and was attractively refinished some time ago. See further details on this movement in Ken Robert's book on Ives (1970), pages 246-247. The glasses are both old and the lower tablet has been professionally restored (a magnificent job). The dial is period, but may not be original to this clock (fits OK, but not perfect); case retains wonderful full label. Note height is only 15" $375-475 |
