Catalog Description:

C.1870, English, Hurt and Wray, Birmingham, a large triple chain fusee, quarter chiming oak bracket clock, chiming 8-bell Whittington tune on the quarters, and sounding the hours on a 9th bell. The movement is very large, filling the substantial case. The silvering on the dial shows wear and will need attention. Retains original finish, hands, pendulum, door locks and key. Note the 3 finials are missing and the holes filled in with putty; barley twist columns and gothic carvings intact. A well made clock that can be improved with minor restoration. Height 22.5'
