Catalog Description:

C.1880, French, Mini Lyre Clock, with swinging brilliants on knife-edge pendulum, in excellent original condition. The porcelain dial is decorated with polychrome floral wreaths and is signed Cousard, Horo'gr du Roy, Paris. The sister to this clock sold in 1993 at the Sotheby's Meraux sale (6-28-93), lot No. 78. The white marble case is in very good condition and retains all ormolu intact with bright yellow gilding. Numbers match on mov't and pendulum, all original brilliants; finely pierced "lyre" hands. A nice clock. Height 14" $3500-4500
