Germany Wall Vienna

Catalog Description:

C.1895, German, Schlenker and Kienzle, Small 2- weight regulator, as-found. Note the movement is NOT original to the case, and there are extra holes in the back. The top trim is newly made and not of the right style; door split top and bottom. The numerals on the dial were not fired in well enough and parts of them have worn off. The well made movement with appropriate "flying clock" trademark, and serial number 45,146; note center minute shaft is broken at the outer pin hole - there is room to drill a new hole., AND the barrels have seized against the great wheels. Barely ticks and strikes, and will have to come apart for cleaning. The dial center and pendulum with matching etched pattern. Weights new. Note pendulum rides about 5 inches off the bottom of the case. These smaller Viennas are hard to find. Height 39" Reserve $400
