Catalog Description:

C.1899, Regina Music Box Co., Rahway, NJ, Style 31, automatic disc changing music box, 20 inches, full name: Regina Sublima Corona No. 31. This box was modeled after the popular 27" changer, for folks who had space restrictions. The mahogany cabinet has been refinished and the mechanisms cleaned by a mechanic in Pennsylvania. Those folks unfamiliar with this model should refer to Dave Bowers' Encyclopedia of Automatic Music Instruments (Vestal Press), page 200. Includes carriage of 12 tune discs, including the Washington Post March and Lustspiel. We played this box for several hours and it occasionally stops in the middle of a tune and some times top edge of the disc catches when it is rising into place. However both spring motors are strong and it appears that someone familiar with these mechanisms can assist with adjustments. 64x24x34" $18,000-20,000
