Catalog Description: C.1900, French, 3-Piece, Marble and Ormolu mantel set, as- found. This clock was neglected under the work bench, has wrong pendulum, and no set stem in rear. Most important, the brass cylinder that houses the movement has stress cracks all around and will need a major repair. Timepiece movement ticks OK, and with gilt hands. Tan/red marble with edge abrasion, but generally OK. Side pieces are fine. Height 14.5' |
