Catalog Description: C.1910, German, copy of 18th Century elephant theme, with the clock as "cargo" atop the elephant's back. The 30 hour fit-up movement is dirty and lacking set stem and loop from winding stem, otherwise complete and sound. The spelter elephant has a patinated bronze finish which is worn on some edges, but there are no breaks in the casting. Cute novelty. Height 8.5" Reserve $150 |
