Germany Shelf Figural Swinging Arm

Catalog Description:

C.1910, German, Junghans, extremely rare "Dog and Cat' swinging arm clock. This clock was overpainted with some gold paint long ago and much of it is worn away, however it is otherwise untouched and in very good original condition. There are no breaks nor repairs to the casting, and much of the original gilding is still intact (under the paint). The porcelain dial is perfect and signed with "Star-J' trademark. The fast/slow adjustment is via a knurled nut, top center that raises and lowers the movement assembly. The little Daschund has red brilliant eyes and the cat has green. The simple gilt spelter stand is mounted to a turned wooden base; the stand assembly is 100 percent original with nice patina and no corrosion. In running order. Height 9'
