Catalog Description:

C.1918, Warren Clock Co., Ashland, Mass. Henry Warren designed and built these truly unique battery timepieces. His patent "free pendulum" used a magnet, rather than mechanical connection to advance the hands. See Brook's Palmers Treasury of American Clocks, page 311, clock 546 for details. These were well made and expensive when new. Original dome and gilding intact. Minor oxidation on tube from a leaky battery. Also will need a suspension spring.
