Catalog Description: English, 1st Half 19th Century, a Midlands short door tall case, now with a good London make 8- day brass dial movement (C.1725) signed John Hill, King St., Covent Garden; the dial measures 13 x 17.5', and with an engraved brass rolling moon with silvered moon and stars; tidal indications above moon. An engraved seconds dial is just below 12 and a date aperture above 6 (date wheel intact). This clock stood in a New York home for the last 50 years, and will need cleaning.
