English honey-oak striking bracket clock, circa 1880 A fine quality small sized English honey-oak striking bracket clock, the honey-oak case with chamfer top with slight carving depicting baskets of flowers, pierced carved side sound frets with carved pillars to front door sitting on toupie feet, the 8-day English double chain fusee movement with maintaining power and anchor escapement chiming the hours and half hours on a gong with rise and fall regulation and strike/silent, the silvered and engraved dial with two subsidiaries and black Roman numerals. 15" x 10" x 7"
