Works: Japy Freres and Cie, French 8 day brass with rack and snail striking on gong. Marked Gde Med d'Honneur. Dial marked, Made for A. Stowell and Co. Boston. Presentation engraving inside of case " Presented to Rev. F.M. and Mrs. Remick By the Horace Memorial Free Baptist Church Sept 2, 1897." Condition: Case: Excellent original finish with nice age. Numbers on dial professionally touched up. Works: excellent, with great dial and open escapement. |
