French Gilt Metal Figural Clock, Circa 1880 Dashing young Farmer surrounded by agricultural symbols. The plough behind him, stock whip in his hand he stands beside the good quality 8 day movement housed in a gilt metal drum shape case all on an ornate rococo scrolling base. The movement is un-restored but clean and running, outside count wheel, strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. All in excellent condition. Circa 1880.
