C.1920, German, Oswald GmbH, shelf clock a carved wooden dog, showing the time with rotating eyes (its around 10:15 if you can see the glint in the dogs eye in this photo. As the 20th century progressed, these became smaller, and finally were cast of composition to reduce labor costs. This is a good early one, with original finish. Ticks and stops. Height 7"
