C.1985, Swiss, Singing Bird in box This is a high quality bird box, the bronze case engraved and gold plated. The clockwork movement drives a miniature bellows which provides air for a tiny slide flute, resulting in the singing sound. Owing to its youthfulness, it plays loudly and in a very lively fashion/ you will think you are really listening to a bird sing. This box is really in like new condition, and the bird is attractively decorated in red, blue and green feathers, and the beak opens and closes, he turns from side to side and flaps his wings in the process. Box measures 3 x 2 x 1 inches.
