Catalog Description: C.1900, French, "JESTER" animated Bell ringer alarm clock in good condition. This clock looks to be 98 percent original; some touchup to the face and eyebrows of the jester (done long ago, and with additional wear). Hands do not match, but this is a wonderful little novelty that does not turn up often. Ticks and alarms in lively fashion (jester wags the bell in his left hand). Height 11 inches |
