Welch Spring and Company Regulator No. 1

Catalog Description:

C.1880, Welch Spring and Co., "Regulator No.1" wall clock 8-day double weight time only with center sweep seconds and in very good restored condition- retaining original dial (nicely crazed), original gilding on pendulum stick (some wear) and all trim and finials intact. The case was professionally refinished some time ago, and there are a few scratches in the rosewood where stubborn shellac was forced to yield to a scraper. There are minor dryness cracks here and there and some small scrapes along the rear edges; evidence of repaired finial. This clock would be a welcome addition to any Welch collection. Height 68"
