Catalog Description: C.1880, Brass Cased Carriage Clock the oval case profusely engraved with scrolls and floral themes. The well made Grand Sonnerie movement with repeat button, and the dial with three subsidiary porcelain dials giving the day, date and month (German day nomenclature), all dials mounted in a matted gilt mask, and retaining original hands. Movement retains original lever platform, and the selector in the base rides in an engraved cover with: Silent, Pt. Sonnerie + Gd. Sonnerie. All glass is excellent; about as good as it gets. Height 7 inches |
