Catalog Description:

C.1840, E.C. Brewster cornice shelf clock Bristol, CT 30-hour iron back-plate Cornice shelf clock. The clock is in overall very nice condition with minor veneer loss on the cornice, left, and a 2" piece of veneer replaced left of the lock. The original card label is in beautiful condition along with the original movement, hands, dial, and pendulum. The two glasses have been replaced. Details and photos of this model may be found in Ken Roberts book on Ives, page 219, figures 62a + b. Note that the 30 hour movement is a count wheel strike and did not utilize Kirk's patents as the 8 day model did. A nice example of this uncommon clock. Height 20 inches
