Catalog Description:

C.1830, French, Ormolu Figural Clock with dome and base restored. The case and figure have been polished and professionally gold plated with pink gold. The figure is of young winged merman (fish tail instead of legs) feeding grapes to a lion that is emerging from a fantasy of sea plants. The well made French movement has a silk thread suspension and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Height of clock 14" total with dome 16"
