Catalog Description:

C.1875, French, Morbier, 2-Weight Wag on the Wall clock complete with weights, pendulum and wall bracket. This clock was cleaned around 10 years ago and still ticks and strikes, but would benefit from oiling. This late Morbier strikes on a coiled wire gong (strikes the hours and halvesUno prayer repeat on this mode), has anchor escapement. Note also that this clock has a concentric calendar that is in working order. The porcelain dial is especially nice, with each numeral in a blue surround; there are some hairlines in the dial. Height 54"
