Adamantine shelf clock c. 1910 Dimensions:11 inches tall by 16" wide Maker/Mfgr./Author/Artist:Seth Thomas Clock Co., New York Condition:Excellent; runs perfectly and strikes the hours and half hour. Circa:1910 Materials:Faux marble adamantine case with brass movement and deep gong on the hours and once on the half hour. Description:"Adamantine" was the name given the early attempts to simulate marble on clocks and other decorative cases. This clock has the attractive brown marble finish which is in excellent condition. The original dial is retained and the movement is clean and running perfectly.
