ITHACA No. 3 1/2 DOUBLE DIAL CALENDAR CLOCK (Ithaca, NY c. 1870) Walnut case in original finish with applied ebonized decoration. Etched glass pendulum bob. The dial is paper, calendar dial is painted glass. Eight-day time-and-strike, spring-driven, brass movement. Label on back reads: This clock given to John T. Egbert and Amadelle T. Egbert for a wedding present, Oct. 16, 1888 by Fred Townley, Charles Townley, John Jackson, Andrew Conlon. Lansing, Thompson County, NY. A choice example.
