EXTREMELY RARE STANDING BANJO CLOCK (Tauton, MA c. 1820) Beautifully figured mahogany case with inlaid birdseye maple panels. Case retains nice old, warm patina. Painted iron dial signed Charles Babbitt, Tauton. Eight-day time-only weight-driven, brass movement. (Another clock by this maker illustrated on p. 111 in Horology Americana.)
