Case made of rosewood figured veneer in rich colors and oodles of string inlay and designs Columns have large bronze capitals and bases Ripple molding on top and base Clock is sitting on a matching base with a cutout for a glass dome No dome, but they are available Case is 21 1/2 inches including the base 8 day, round French movement with outside count, striking a bell, and running Movement is signed "Marti" Nice lyre shaped pendulum, figure of a lady embossed on the front 3 1/2 inch porcelain dial has no problems Note the fancy cast dial ring A really outstanding clock
