Ansonia Clock Co. hanging clock, "Prompt", ca 1901. . 8-day movement strikes the half hours and hours on a gong. Oak case is 50 inches high. The brass parts were polished bright, painted dial has been cleaned as has the movement and all wood parts. The clock has been expertly restored and is running. Ly-Ansonia No.599.
