Catalog Description: C.1905, American Clock Co., Chicago, Ill, battery operated electric timepiece. This was a company that was formed in Kansas City out of a merger of the Automatic Electric Clock Co., and the United States Pneumatic Clock Co., The movement is housed in a simple designed mahogany case with original finish. The case has some scratches and dings. The porcelain dial is very good with only a minor hairline near 3. The hands are original. The top of the case is hinged and opens to allow one access to the movement and the batteries that run the timepiece. We had one of these around 5 years ago that sold for $600. Height 13.75" $400-$600 |
