Catalog Description:

C.1845, Hills, Goodrich and Co., Plainville, Farmington, Conn., 30-hour time/strike hollow column shelf clock. This clock will need a fair amount of veneer work, as there are several places on the case that have pieces of veneer missing. Fortunately the hollow columns are still in good condition. The tablets are not original. The painted metal dial is in pretty good condition with some loss around the mounting pins. The unsigned 30-hour movement will need some restoration to fix amateur repairs. Label about 70%, but legible. Still a rare clock that can be brougHeight back by a careful workman. Height 28" $450-$550
