Catalog Description:

C.1830, Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn. 30-hour time/strike wood movement shelf clock (short) in good original condition. This nice clock in unrestored. The veneered case is very good with original chimneys and side returns. There a couple of chips on the base veneer, a chip on the side of the case and on the left side return. Both glasses are original with the most of lower tablet present to allow for a proper restoration. The stencils on the columns and spalt are exceptionally nice. The top splat has a broken tip that was reglued. The left paw foot has a small part of one toe broken off. The dial has a little paint loss in the center and near the winding holes. The movement is a proper Seth Thomas. The clock has an original tin dust cover on the back. Hard to find unrestored like this. Height 29" $800-$1,200
