Welch Spring and Company Patti No. 1

Catalog Description:

C.1880, Welch, Spring and Co. "Patti, No. 1" fancy rosewood parlor clock in excellent condition. The case on this Patti is extremely nice and has all its original finials and decorations, plus original finish that has never been touched. The earlier style gold leaf decorated tablet is in superb condition. The dial shows wear commensurate with age, but is original. The hands are old replacements and the proper style are available. The case has a very good label on the reverse and original black flocked paper inside the back, though the pendulum has caused scuffs on it. The movement is original as is the pendulum with decorated glass insert. Part of bottom skirt of top finial is missing but not noticeable. See also lot 340. Height 18.5" $1,400-$1,800
