Catalog Description:

C.1830, French, Charles X, marble and bronze figural clock in good original condition. This is a large and attractive rendition of Music with her left hand on her harp. The detail in the bronze is outstanding. The dark yellow/ gray veined marble base is in good shape, a rear panel glued back in place, and a chip polished out on the left front corner (looks OK). The bell strike movement is a finely made silk thread unit, and appears to have been cleaned recently. An impressive and well made clock (also very heavy), and our estimate is conservative to encourage your interest. Height 20.5" $800-$1,200
