Ithaca Clock Company No. 1 Regulator

Catalog Description:

C.1875, Ithaca Clock Co., "No. 1 Regulator" double dial perpetual calendar, their catalog also referred to this model as "Hanging Bank Clock". This clock uses a well made 2-weight, 8-day movement manufactured for Ithaca by Welch, Spring and Co. The walnut case was professionally refinished some time ago and has nice patina. The dials have been nicely repainted and rollers re-covered. Note all burl accents, carved appliques and finials are original and intact. Also the inside of the clock has been cleaned, and some glue blocks replaced. Both door glasses are original. Movements have been cleaned and clock is in running order. Very impressive For comparison, see Ly's calendar clock book, pages 123-125. Inside is a repair card from A. P. Honer, Cincinnati, Ohio. Height 49" $4,000-$5,000
