Catalog Description: C.1900, French mantel clock with spectacular gilt brass and cloisonne case with inset painted porcelain panels and painted porcelain dial. Eight day movement with serial number 124169. Original gilt brass hands. Front multi-colored porcelain panel is signed "Cullus". Side panels and dial by the same hand, but are not signed. The dial similarly decorated with a winged cherub. This clock is really magnificent in appearance. Height 15.5" $4,500-$5,000 |
