Catalog Description:

C.1847, Brewster and Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., 8-day time and strike 4-column steeple clock. This rosewood veneered model retains an old finish. The veneer is pretty good with some minor veneer chips on the base. The cross strip on the door has been replaced. Someone has gouged out a slot in the base to allow for the swing of the pendulum. The period frosted glass is very nice, along with the signed dial. The minute hand is a replacement. The finials have chips on the turned rings. The tips on two of the finials are broken off. The door knob needs restoration The lock escutcheon is missing. The ribbed plate movement has its original brass springs. Height 19.25" $500-$700
