Catalog Description: C.1868, Seth Thomas Clock Co., "Office Calendar No. 3" or "PEANUT" double dial calendar clock with early Huntington and Platts patent calendar mechanism. Rosewood veneered case with original lock and key in excellent condition and nicely refinished. Original 8-day striking movement, "ST" hands, and day and month roller papers. Zinc dials have been professionally redone (some time ago and with nice patina) . This clock has an excellent black and gilt "Thomaston" label and is an excellent example of this cute model and ready to hang on your wall. Height 24" $3,000-$4,000 |
