Gilt brass, eight-day going Mignonette carriage clock with cloisonne enamelled decoration. Made in France, circa 1890. Made in France for London & Ryder, London, Paris, No. 1876, circa 1890. Fine and unusual, gilt brass, eight-day going Mignonette carriage clock with cloisonne enamelled decoration. C. Gilt brass "Anglaise", glazed four sides and top, with azure, blue, pink and purple cloisonne enamelled foliage decoration. D. Silvered with Roman numerals and split-pearl set border. Blued steel "fuseaux" hands. Dial plate decoration matching that of the case. M. Gilt brass rectangular with going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial. Dim. 60 x 43 x 39 mm. excluding the handle.
