Sessions Regulator No. 5

Catalog Description:

Sessions Clock Co., "Regulator No.5", ca 1904-1913. This clock is basically a common store regulator case, jazzed up with a weight movement, and a fancy top, base, and dial board that you would get on a $2000 clock. If there have been any restorations made to the case it would be on the base but I can't be sure. The mahogany finished case is 50 inches high, cleaned and restored where needed. There are some applied ornaments on the top and base, both carved and pressed. Part of a label, enough to identify the clock. They put a 2 weight, time only, large 8 day brass movement in this model. It has dead beat escapement and a seconds hand. The old paper dial has been replaced. Original brass pendulum, beat scale, and brass weights. This clock does have one unusual feature I have never seen, there are 2 holes in the upper part of the dial board that allow you to put the weight cords on the pulleys without having to take off the dial board. Ly-Sessions No.128.
