Catalog Description:

French 3 piece mantle garniture set; movement signed "Vincenti Medaille D'Argent 1855"; Date scratched in the marble base, "1898" French 3 piece mantle set. Beautiful white marble with an abundance of bronze trim. 8 day round movement, half hour bell strike, signed "Vincenti Medaille D'Argent 1855". Date scratched in the marble base, "1898". Glass back door, sunburst pendulum more than likely a modern replacement. Convex porcelain dial is signed, "Maerle Lowmrins". Convex and beveled glass over the dial. Bezel is etched and beaded, very intricate as are the hands. The clock case is 14 inches high, candelabras are 10 inches high. One of the most petite French sets we have had. Except for the pendulum I feel the set is 100 % original and in near mint condition.
