The Royal Geographic Society's, "World Clock", ca 1980, produced by the Franklin Mint in limited quantities. It incorporates mahogany, hand worked brass, and pure 24K gold. An impressively handsome satin finished globe. It's purpose is to indicate the time in every port of the world at a single glance. The issue price was originally $950. It is 10 3/4 inches tall, 8 7/8 inches at the base. Precision made, 15 jewel, Swiss movement, is running. Complete packet of history and details of the clock, come with it.
