Catalog Description:

Seth Thomas novelty or "metal set", ca 1900. Metal has a heavy coat or copper under the gold gilt. The majority of gilt is still evident. If you insist on running the little 30 hour clock, it will need to be serviced. The signed paper dial has oil spots, heavy beveled glass. The bare chested figures are identical. Centerpiece is 13 1/2 inches high, side pieces, 8 inches. Fragile solder joints have no breaks that are evident. White onyx has a few miniscule chips. This is a rare 3 piece set that we almost never see offered for sale.
