Catalog Description: Contemporary E.N.Welch Clock Co. "Patti, No. 1". Case is 19 inches, was well made with identical turnings and finials as the early Patti's. Glass in the sides, door glass identical to the originals. Old 2 barrel pendulum, probably a George Owens or Ansonia pendulum, the only thing old about this clock. Movement, gong, dial, case, all contemporary. Movement is 8 day, time and strike, and runs well. See Ly-Welch, page 154 for an example of an early clock to compare. |
