Catalog Description:

Ansonia Clock Co., miniature parlor clock. Some improvements made by an eager clock fixer. Strike side gears and alarm removed so it would run better. Well, it does run great. There is a one barrel pendulum, and a little beat scale. The movement is signed, "Patented Oct 10, 1876". The dial ring is signed, "Pat. May 1, 76". The installation of a new paper dial was a Kindergarten class project. Very nice 15 inch mahogany case, has never been cleaned.
