Catalog Description:

C.1895, Waterbury Clock Co., "Pearl", 30-hour night clock or gaslight timepiece. The French were making these timepieces and the Americans followed suit to compete. The milkglass dial is fine. The hands are replacements. The movement needs a small knob to set the hands, but does tick (then stop). Still an attractive example; see also previous lot. Height 11 inches
