Catalog Description: C.1900, French, Brass Cased Carriage clock, time, strike, repeat and alarm in a plain Corniche case, and with fancy dial with blue numerals and polychrome wreaths. The dial bears the name of the retailer: Bailey, Banks and Biddle, Philadelphia. There are no chips in the dial, but a faint hairline that extends vertically through the 2. There is a chip in the top left corner of the front glass and a tiny chip on the rear glass; side panels are fine. Retains original silvered platform intact, and is complete and sound, but dirty. Nice small size. Height 5.75 inches |
