Birge and Fuller

Catalog Description:

C.1845, Birge and Fuller, Bristol, Conn., steeple on steeple, wagon spring shelf clock, 8-day, and in very good condition with nice label. The only apparent restorations are the dial which has been repainted, and the left lever arm which has been welded (decent repair). The original frost and cut tablets are in excellent condition with no cracks; floral design is especially attractive. Minor losses to label from someone throwing the key in the case regularly. The mahogany veneer is really in very good condition, minor gouges, and with original finish; one minor repair to base. Case retains original ball feet, original hands, cones and case hardware. Height 27.5 inches
