Catalog Description:

C.1883, Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, Mo., "Fashion No. 5", in very good condition, the one major restoration is the new glass with "Fashion" in foil and gold paint. Clock is complete with both black-gold directions label and tan "no-oil" label. The original roller covers are a bit dark. There is some loss of paint on the time dial above the center shaft. Gold incising in the front mask is good. All 3 hands are original. The 3 finials are custom replacements to proper dimensions, with minor flaws (really look fine, just need to be accurate). The 8-day movement strikes on a gong with a nickel plated base. Original nickeled damascene pendulum and beat index. A nice example of a No. 5. Height 32 inches
