Catalog Description: C.1890, French, Highly Carved Wall clock. This walnut case has full standing Corinthian columns, a cornice top with carved finial, and a carved bottom with acorns and scrolls. The 8-day French movement strikes the hours and halves on a coiled wire gong. The wooden dial has 12 individual porcelain cartouche with Roman numerals.
