Catalog Description:

New Haven Clock Co. calendar clock, "Register", ca 1880. Generally we only find these in time only. This one is 8 day of course, striking on a nickel bell below the movement. Refinished walnut case is 31 inches highand all original except the two small ball finials and the leaf on the bottom.All copied from originals and expertly done. We doubt most collectors couldhave detected the new work. New paper dials on the old dial pans. When thecase was redone the movements were cleaned and put in excellent running order.Runs, strikes, and calendar changes. Overall the clock is excellent. Ly-NewHaven No. 238.
