New Haven

Catalog Description:

New Haven Clock Co. kitchen clock, ca 1907. Oak case is 22" high, missing a piece of trim on the left side. Use the one on the right for a pattern. That is the next to best good part about this clock. The best is the Gilbertportrait pendulum they used on some walnut parlor clocks. I believe it mayhave a replaced portrait. Now the bad, the movement is an E. Ingraham, 8day brass movement, striking a coil gong. The dial is by "who knows". There is a new paper on an old pan, turned upside down to cover the wrong placed winding holes. Good grief. I am lowering the minimum from my $150 starting, down to $100, and now to $50, although the portrait pendulum may be worth that. References: Ly-Gilbert No. 1901 the pendulum; Ly-New Haven No. 1419 the case; Ly-Ingraham No. 992 the movement.
